As if it wasn't hard enough to tell who the good and bad guys are, now a Char's custom suit with a "Rick" in the name is on the good side of things! Sheesh!

Regardless, this Rick-Dias is a really nice addition to the HG line! It comes with a beam saber with effect parts, a machine gun, bazooka, and several interchangeable hands for all your posing needs. Add this to your Zeon- I mean Earth Fed- I don't even know anymore, but add it to your collection! [via GP]

Looks cool, for sure. Like others have said, the guns are not easy for him to hold, and he is rather simple, low on thrusters and weaponry. He does have a cool mono-eye that isn't a sticker and a the gimmick above the eye where you can find hidden machine guns. I'd say you shouldn't jump head over heels for this one, but he is cool to have in a collection.

That said, the design is in need of a bit of an update. The beam rifles aren't meant to be held in the hands of the Rick Dias, and if you do get them in the arm can only hold them in one position. Aside from that this is a great kit for a beginner.

The quality of the kit is nice and the mono eye not being a sticker was a huge plus in my opinion. The 2 beam pistols on its back are awkward to place in the hands of the Rick Dias. My only other gripe are the wiring pieces behind the knees and at the hips. The placement of these make adjusting its legs a pain sometimes. You have to make sure the wiring lines up with the holes or you may pop a piece out of place while moving its legs.

All in all it's a great beginners kit.
