Technology & Combat Characteristics
Each of the Z'Gok's hands featured built-in mega particle cannons for easier and more precise aiming. Each hand also had three-claws which could be used to thrust into the Earth Federation's mobile suits (as Char Aznable demonstrated), or they could be used to smash things as well. The Z'Gok also had six 240 mm missile launchers built into the head with five rounds.
Armaments
240mm Missile Launcher - The MSM-07S mounts six 240mm missile launchers in the top of its head, each with five rounds for a total of thirty missiles.
Mega Particle Cannon - As with Zeon's previous amphibious mobile suits, the MSM-07S Z-Gok Commander Type is equipped with a pair of mega particle cannons powered directly from the mobile suit's Minovsky type ultracompact nuclear fusion reactor. The Z-Gok's mega particle cannons are mounted in the palm of its hands.
Iron Nail - The MSM-07S Z'Gok Commander Type, similar to most other amphibious mobile suits, was not designed with the standard manipulators such as the ones found on a Zaku. In the Z'Gok's case, three metal claws are built into each arm surrounding the Mega Particle cannon found in the palm. The claws are designed to pierce through the armor of mobile suits, which they do quite well.
History
Following the production of the MSM-07 Z'Gok, a few of these units were outfitted with more powerful reactors and slightly better armor/construction materials. This made the S-Types lighter and increased their overall performance. The Zeon war ace Char Aznable, better known as the "Red Comet" to his foes, piloted a Commander Type Z'Gok in his traditional red and black color scheme during the assault on the Earth Federation's Jaburo General HQ on November 30, U.C. 0079. 1/144 HGUC MSM-07S Z'Gok Commander Type (Char Aznable Custom) Model Kit Review
This version comes in Char's custom colors. The classic Z'gok comes molded in color and is highly posable thanks to its polycap joints. The arms are segmented to allow it to replicate scenes from the anime and even has movable claws and thrusters.
Even with the Red Comet's distinctive colors, this suit still is pretty strange. It's pretty obvious the Z'Gok wasn't made for land combat, but this kit can still look good on a shelf! Featuring the full articulation (right down to the claws) that you've come to expect from all Bandai releases, this kit leaves little to be desired from this amphibious Zeon mobile suit.

Great kit, easy to build, easy to pose, great value, and definitely looks cool after completion. This kit is almost identical to the regular Z'Gok in blue, this one is just clad to Char's custom colors! Great kit, buy it!

Extremely simple kit, with only three runners.
The only problems I came across were loose pieces, as well as the design with the legs.
Other than that, this is a great introductory kit for beginners. Its really simple with very few pieces.

Great figure. Lots of articulation. Very well painted as is and uses a good plastic material. Overall wonderful figure and will always treasure.
