Fujimi is a Japanese model manufacturing company headquartered in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture Suruga-ku. Fujimi mainly manufactures and sells plastic scale models. Its main product line is the automobile scale model, aircrafts and vessels. There are also a small number of buildings, AFV (Armoured Fighting Vehicle or Armored Fighting Vehicle) and figure models.

The main scales of Fujimi's aircraft model kits are in 1/48 and 1/72. In addition, it is showing the product development by other companies such as Vought F7U Cutlass fighter [Buy from Amazon] and Japanese Navy seaplane is not developed in 1/72. The main scales of Fujimi's warship models are 1/700 and 1/500. Most of scale ships are waterline models.

The Main Series

  1/24 Inch Up series
  
  Main series of car models. Beginning with the ID number (for example: ID-1). If a model is accurately scaled down, the wheel look too small, so, Fujimi designs the wheel an inch larger.

  Historic Racing Car series
  
  Old racing cars, such as Porsche 917, Ford GT40 and Skyline GT-R. Part Number begins with HR.


• 
  Enthusiast series
  
  Precision model series that put the scale down to 1/24. There is also a model which reproduced Konrotto and crankshaft, piston to the crank case that becomes invisible once you crossed too much to pursue the precision (for example: Porsche 356). The series includes Porsche 911 series (901 ~ 930), BMW 635CSi, main models of Lancia Stratos, etc. Part Number begins with EN.
